Whether it’s your first time seeing a chiropractor or you’ve been before, this is what to expect when you make an appointment to see Dr Helena at The Chiro Room.

  • After booking your first appointment online, you will receive an email with a link to fill in the intake form online before arriving, to maximise the treatment time. You can also find this in your profile after booking.

    Bring along any recent x-ray films of your spine. Otherwise, just yourself.

    Your first consultation will be around half an hour. Here, we’ll delve deeper to learn more about your body, make a plan, and commence your assessments and treatment right away.

  • On arrival, you can enjoy a tea in our space while you wait. We have designed our clinic to be sensory-soothing, but please let us know if you prefer lower lighting or quieter music.

    In each session with Dr Helena, she will ask about any symptoms or changes so that she can continue to tailor her care to your health goals.

    She practices a range of chiropractic techniques that cater to the individual she’s working with. These include gentle manual adjustments on a drop-piece table, cranial therapy, and applied kinesiology (AK).

    Dr Helena will communicate with you to make sure you feel comfortable and have full control during the treatment.

  • When bringing your baby or young child to see Dr Helena, she will assess their milestone developments, discuss findings together, and with your consent, gently perform modified paediatric adjustments catered to their growing musculoskeletal system.

  • If you’re currently pregnant or recently post-partum, Dr Helena will tailor your treatments accordingly to accommodate your needs and recovery. Using the Belly Pillow, our pregnant patients are able to lie comfortably on their stomach with space for their growing belly.

  • On-the-spot HICAPS claiming is available for WorkCover, TAC, DVA, Enhanced Care Plans and most major private health funds.

    • New patient consultation (30 mins) $115

    • New patient concession/child (30 mins) $105

    • Return adjustment (15 mins) $75

    • Return concession/child adjustment (15 mins) $65
