Your first visit, explained—step by step.

We know trying something new can feel overwhelming. That’s why we follow a “no surprises” approach—so you always know what’s happening, and why.

You’re welcome to ask questions, take your time, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

A space designed for you to feel at ease.

From the moment you arrive, our focus is on creating a calm, welcoming environment.

You might be greeted by Pacey the Labrador, offered a quiet moment to settle in, or simply given the space you need before we begin. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no expectation to “push through” discomfort.

We’re here to support you—exactly as you are

What happens during your appointment.

Step 1: Conversation First

We begin with a relaxed conversation about what’s brought you in, how your body has been feeling, and what you’re hoping to get out of care.

This is your time to share as much—or as little—as you feel comfortable.

Step 2: Assessment

We’ll carry out a gentle assessment to better understand how your body is functioning. This may include movement, posture, and neurological checks.

Everything is explained as we go, so you’re never left wondering what’s happening.

Step 3: Personalisation of your care

Based on what we find, we’ll talk through what’s going on in your body and how we can support it.

You’ll always have the opportunity to ask questions and decide what feels right for you before we continue.

Step 4: Treatment (if you’re ready)

If you're comfortable, we’ll begin treatment the same day.

Techniques are always adapted to suit you—including gentle, low-force options if you prefer to avoid “cracking” or sudden movements.

Step 5: After your visit

We’ll guide you through what to expect after your appointment and provide simple, practical advice to support your progress between visits.

Care that adapts to you.

We understand that every nervous system is different.

If you have preferences around lighting, sound, touch, or communication, we’re always happy to adjust. You’re welcome to let us know what helps you feel most comfortable—or we can figure it out together.

Consent is central to everything we do. Nothing happens without your understanding and agreement..
