Room to recover.

A gentle, neuro-affirming approach in Seddon, designed to help you feel more comfortable, more supported, and more at ease in your body.

No rigid plans. Just care that adapts to you.

This isn’t one-size-fits-all care.

At The Chiro Room, chiropractic looks a little different.

There are no rushed appointments. No assumptions. No expectation that your body should respond the same way as someone else’s.

Instead, we take the time to understand what’s going on for you—how your body feels, how it moves, and what it might be asking for.

From there, we build care around you.

You don’t need a label to come in.

Some people come to us with a clear issue. Others just know something doesn’t feel quite right.

Commonly, we support:

That “tight” or restricted feeling that won’t shift

Spending long hours sitting, working, or feeling “stuck” in your body

Feeling out of balance, run down, or not quite yourself

Care that feels safe, predictable, and considered.

Before anything begins, we talk.

You’ll always know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what it might feel like. If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust—together.

Some people prefer traditional adjustments. Others prefer low-force or more subtle techniques.

Both are valid.

Your care is guided by your comfort, your preferences, and your nervous system—not by a fixed approach.

A blend of approaches, tailored to you.

Dr Helena draws on a range of techniques, including:

  • Chiropractic adjustments

  • Applied kinesiology

  • Functional neurological approaches

But the technique is never the focus—you are.

We choose what’s most supportive for your body on the day, not what fits a pre-set plan.

Your questions, answered

  • Yes, if our assessments conclude we can help. We’ll talk everything through first of what adjustments entail so you can make an informed decision before proceeding.

  • That’s completely okay. We also offer gentle, low-force techniques that don’t involve cracking.

  • The short answer is no - the goal is to relieve your pain, not add to it! During an adjustment, you might feel a deep stretch, mild pressure, or a sense of release.

Because we are introducing new movement to areas that may have been tight or "stuck" for a long time, it is normal to feel mild muscle soreness the next day - similar to how you might feel after a good workout. However, you are always in control. If a specific technique ever feels too intense, just let us know, and we will immediately adjust our approach.

  • Yes. Many people come in to support how their body feels and functions day to day - not just when something is wrong. As they say, it’s easier to stay well than to get well.

  • Yes. Care for babies and children is always gentle, adapted, and developmentally appropriate for their growing bodies.
